Once a site goes live, most businesses want ongoing support but not at the cost of a long contract or an agency retainer that bills you whether you use it or not.

The Acme Studio Care Plans are designed to be the least sticky version of that arrangement. Subscribe by the month, pay only what fits how often you actually need help, cancel any month with no notice period and no clawback. The annual rate is 25% cheaper if you’re confident about commitment — but it’s never required.

Frequently asked

What counts as an 'edit'?
Anything that doesn't require a redesign — text changes, image swaps, link updates, new FAQ entries, blog post publishing, contact-form tweaks, schema additions, redirect rules. Edits get billed in 15-minute increments against your monthly hours allowance.
What if I don't use my hours?
Hours don't roll over by default — the subscription model assumes you use them most months. If a month runs light, the time can be banked for up to 60 days at my discretion (typically yes, occasionally no if I'm capacity-constrained). The yearly billing already prices in some month-to-month variability, which is part of why it's 25% cheaper.
How does the yearly discount work exactly?
Pay 12 months upfront, get 25% off. So Care Lite is £19/month at £228/year, but pre-paid yearly is £171 — a £57 saving. The cancellation policy still applies — if you cancel mid-year, the remaining months are refunded pro-rata.
What if I need a one-off larger job — say, a 5-page expansion?
That's a Bespoke build, not a Care Plan job. We'd quote it separately at a fixed fee, the same as the original site build. The Care Plan stays on top covering the new pages once they're live.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my Care Plan?
Yes — change tiers any month. Upgrading is immediate. Downgrading takes effect from the next billing cycle so you don't lose hours you've already paid for.
